Respecting the Environment

Don't dump rubbish in the ocean.

This week we went to Atahura marae. We had to practice the powhiri which is the welcoming on to the Marae. After we were welcomed onto the Marae we had to take our shoes off before entering the wharenui. My favourite part was presenting my mihi off by heart. l learnt a fact about the chief and how he won his last battle.

I wish this is the new domain for ivan it has a two story house and has trees as a seat and a bed in a Tyre sweet if this was ivan real to me I'd be so happy

Ivan

Ivan is a silverback gorilla. He got kidnapped when he was a baby and he lived in a pet shop owners house for 4 years. Ivan got too big to live with the people anymore so he lived in a shopping mall. Ivan lived in a shopping mall for 24 years ivan had one concrete wall a 3 glass wall he has a painting of a tree and flowers and a waterfall.

Ivan is a huge gorilla. Ivan fur is black on the front and silver on the back.Ivan has a long nose and wrinkles on him like an old man.

Ivan use his knuckles to walk aroud.

Ivan is a lonely gorilla. Ivan loves drawing with craig. Ivan loves painting and his paintings gets selled. ivan has a tv and he watches funny cartoons.

Ivan lives in a shopping mall.

Ivan has a mini pool and a stuffed grower and a baseball.

Ivan has a painting of a tree and flowers and a waterfall but they don't smell like any thank.

Ivan shedded a window with a baseball bat now there's a hole in his window.

Now I wish I can go back to the jungle with his parents.

Today I went to say hello to ivan. ivan was in his corner of his domain he wos said.

It made me feel sad too. I thought ivan must of missed his family.

I slept on ivan's tummy it was warm and I was cosy and comfortable and safe.

I took ivan to do some painting it was really fun it cheered him up

I will check on him on tomorrow  because he might be sad tomorrow

Science Fair

This week during class we have been getting ready for a Science Fair. My group decided to see which liquid is the best for growing plants in. We used water, coke and gatorade. We found that water was the best and that gatorade was the worst. Here is a slide of our presentation.
