my birthday

 I can't wait until my birthday hopefully I'm going to be getting a bike and lots of other things I'm hoping to have one friend over and I want to go to the swimming pools  for breakfast I want my dad to cook us pancakes  and for lunch I want to have pies and sausage rolls and then 40 I want to have McDonald's and then I want to stay up until  10:00 at watching movies

go to Christchurch

 i  went to Christchurch it was so much fun we got there in 3 hours it woes so annoying and when we got there we went to Riccarton mall and then we went to Hunting & Fishing  it was so cold air deal so much cool clothes and fishing gear my most favourite thing looking at their was the guns and hunting gun scopes and my most favourite one was the rifle and there was this fishing thing that cost $2,000 and was like submarine that you could send out and it how 25 fishing hooks and then we went to get some food from McDonald's I got a drink and chicken nuggets and chips after the we when to EB gaming's pause so much cool games there I wanted to spin so much money there then we went to hallenstein Brothers I got two jerseys and then we went back home on the way we stop at a gas station and I got a juice and a sausage roll then finally with back home.

I love my Nana and granddad  here is a  thing that I did for my grandparents day. I love going to the farm because I get to Drive the  motorbikes and my granddad is teaching me how to drive a tractor and the reason why I love going there is because my Nana cooks the best dinners and desserts and she let me stay up late.

I learnt how to ride a two wheeler I nearly died George my friend let's near my Grande's Farm and I stayed a night there we had a new for and we bake pancakes and a cake and we had the pancakes and the cake  breakfast and then we went and fold hot hose potholes. we talk the motorbikes and went down by the river bank and then I went home and then went and checked on some of the cows

Stuck in a bubble with my family 24/7 sucked. We couldn’t go anywhere that we wanted to go. I really missed not being able to go to my grandparents farm in Hari Hari.


Due to Covid I couldn’t play sports and I

missed hanging out with my friends.


Online learning was hard.


I did enjoy time with Dad as he was home in our bubble and Mum made a great teacher.


We went on fun rides on our bikes to the beach. I got to bake some awesome muffins.

The week in the jungle

 the jungle I had  two friends one of them survived the other one got killed by hip hippopotamus now it's me so now it's just me and Hunter we have to survive a week in the jungle.

 before we get picked up we have the watch out that we don't stand on  snakes watch out for Tigers and try not to go to close to  the water otherwise a  hippopotamus could kill us to  we have to find the spot with a helicopter will be landing ok it's a 10-k walk  

We have one week to get there. We have 2  water bottles and we have found clean water to fill them. We have enough food to last us two days ok we start a walk now we need to go north east.

 we see a rattlesnake will be careful and go around it finally we find a knife lying in the  grass we are so happy now we finally have a knife now we have a knife we can make a spear i make to Spears for me and Hunter. Hunter found clean water. Finally we can follow are drink bottles now we have a spear and a knife. A hippopotamus is chasing us. We better run, we run up a tree, we are  safe  now we kill the hippopotamus Kate we have food to survive us the whole week we start walking.

We carry on walking and we have a 9-k Walker left.

  We found a boat that has a motor. We can start it. We have to go for a 3-k Ryde through a river.

 ok we finished our  boat ride we have 6-k left.

to walk ok we eat some food we go  to sleep we have 5 days left to walk we wake up we eat some food.

 we carry on walking a hippopotamus starts chasing us again a snake just about bites us.

 but we're safe we see a Jaguar if we quickly get in the  boat we are safe again.

The Jaguar goes away and the hippopotamus we go to sleep we wake up and eat some food.

 With 4 days left we have a 6-k walk lift ok we walk for the rest of the day.

 we walk 3-k wake up we eat some food we go to.

 we grab our stuff out of the boat ok we walk 2-k we fall into a booby trap we can't get out.

 we flash or torch there is a cave it is our only choice.

 we go through their diesel we climate we're out what's another 4-K walk 3 days to do it is night-time we go to sleep we wake up we eat some food.

 we walk 2-k  we get there the helicopter is there it just took off you scream at it  so that it comes back we are finally safe.

rugby

i play rugby i  love rugby it is my favourite sport I play for blaketown under 13 it is really fun I play number 2 butcher's hooker and I throw the ball in from the line out it is really fun with play full field and for an hour we have quarter times and half-time

Every week we get to play rugby for the school team. I like to play rugby for the school because it makes me proud to represent my school. I play hooker. We have played 4 games but we lost all 4 games. This week we lost by one point on one of our games. Everyone was sad but we hope to win next week.

ancient Egypt

HI I AM DECLAN. I GO TO greymain school  today WE DID  an activity first we got three puzzles in a envelope we had to figure them out before we carried head to figure them out before we carry on A THEN WE head to heaps of questions it was kind of hard did after that WE GOT A map of Africa we had to find Egypt then you got a flag you head TO confirm or NOT AN my team chose to confirm and we won.

Lego Creation

Hi I am Declan I go to Grey Main School. For this weeks activity we had to make some thing out of lego. For my 8th birthday I got a technic tractor and I decided to make a trailer to go on the back of my tractor. I have hay and milk in my trailer.

My special place

Today I wrote about my special place.




My Grandy’s Farm



My special place is on my Grandads farm. I can see fences. The fences are grey with electric wire running through them. I can see large rectangular paddocks covered in long thick green grass. The ground is muddy with holes from the cows hooves. There is cow poop all over the place no wonder why you have to wear boots. The cows are in a paddock, next door to the paddock that I am in, they are happily grazing away in the paddock chewing the grass. Cows are mooing, the sun is hot on my body, it is summertime. In the tractor it’s so hot with the door open going to pick up the big round silage bales the dog is happily running beside the tractor barking away. The silage smells like grass that has been left fermenting leaving a strong but a little bit of a sweet smell in it.

What we need a pack for Mistletoe Bay Camp.
I like to go fishing so I think I'm a writing about my fishing gear that I need to take first you want to have a fishing rod or a hand line and then you gonna want some sinkers size 3 or 4 and where I'm going we are going to need size 2 hooks now you have to look at your tackle box you want to put all your size 2 hooks in your tackle box can you want a pocket knife if you catch any fish and if you want to kill it
so you might need some bait you also want to take some spinners maybe 1 or 2
and then you want to cut it open and then you want to cut the fillets out of the fish and then you want to cook the fillets I would rather have lemon on mine is quite good you should try it.
This is a picture of me fishing when I was 6 or 7. I caught 6 fish that day. That was my best day fishing so far.

hi i am declan i go to greymain school  i am in in the school cricket team we won the first game angry starter a second game but by the time we had to go back to school we don't have enough time to finish it a couple days after we finished and we got the same amount of runs  we had to do a super over we lost by one run we played St Pat's.
